Yes it’s official my dear friend Janelle Meyers is now Mrs. Nelson. I was so fortunate to be apart of her Amazing, Awesome and Gorgeous Wedding on July 3. She was the most beautiful bride. The wedding was magical I am so happy for them!! We have know each other for over 10 years and it’s so exciting to watch our lives unfold and see where are lives take us and who we have become.. I love you Nelly!!

Time has flown so quickly.. My little guy is already half a year. Parenthood has been the greatest gift in the world. Everyday is filled with something new, smiles, giggles, milestones, new facial expressions, and loud whining .. I wouldn’t want to miss one of them. I am so blessed and lucky to stay home with Luke and experience all the day to day changes he does. He has changed so much, when I look back at pictures it brings tears to my eyes looking at how small he was. Luke is definitely not a little guy his stats are off the charts!

Height: 30.5 inches (100th percentile)

New fun things about Luke this month:

• We just stared big boy food can’t say he dislikes anything.. not really surprised )
• Has upgraded to a new car seat after growing out of his infant one. No more carrying him around in his car seat, bummer!
• Rolls all around like a steam roller from one side of the living room to the other.. within seconds. Can’t leave him alone anymore.
• Can sit up for a minute then topples over.
• Loves taking pictures, always will give us his GQ look.
• Loves to rip his diaper off if I leave him in just a diaper.. I thought that didn’t start until 1 -2..ahhh
• Loves swimming in water, he will kick up a storm and then start laughing, so cute..
• He is wearing 24 months clothes..   and …. size 4 diapers
• Two weeks ago he started sleeping through the night again… Praise the Lord ) Well 5 am but that’s better than multiple times in the night!
• Does a loud wail when he gets bored… and expects you to give him a new activity asap …
• Has started to whine and cry when I take something away from him… oh brother !!!
• Sticks his tongue out 70% of the time he smiles… So cute I love it!!!
• Aft he sneezes he sighs really loud and says OHH!

Yesterday we decided to take drive to Knights Ferry where we got to take some family pictures with the little guy.. We didn’t get one altogether since it was just us three. But we got some cute pictures individually with Lukey!! Got to love his hair.. So long on top, I just don’t want to cut it, I love it!!

Last week we got to fly to Arizona to have a mini family vacation. It was so nice to relax  and do whatever we wanted. We usually have a itinerary when we go on our family trips, but this one we could do whatever we felt like doing. We could lay by the pool, go to the spa, shop. We loved it. Scottsdale is the greatest city for food, entertainment, and shopping I am in love We went out to some yummy restaurants and ate way to much of course!!! We also went to a movie where we had our individual sofa seats and dinner served to us while watching the movie.. All of this was done with Luke being the best baby ever.. He watched the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean and then slept in my lap for the remainder of the movie.. YES!!

So grateful to have married such an incredible man with such an amazing family! Love you ALL!!

5 Months old… Well I am a little late he’s actually 5 1/2 months now. I am so in love with this little man, I truly feel so blessed to be his mom. Lukey was quite the sleeper about a month ago, since he turned 4 months I have yet to see him sleep through the night. I feel like the walking dead everyday haha ..  I am hoping that now that we are starting rice cereal sleeping will become a thing of new..

• Luke has decided to start rolling over. He loves it! He starts smiling so big and looks over at me like “ha I am not staying on my tummy mommy” He rolls both ways from tummy to back and back to tummy.
• He has taken two airplane rides now one to Utah and one to Arizona.. Fell asleep both ways each time. YES
• Puts himself to sleep for naps all by himself in his crib. LOVES his crib. I can put him in it during the day and he just laughs and starts kicking with excitement.
• Still spitting up and mommy still wears rags all over her cloths to block the spills of milk.
• Loves sitting in his race car bouncer and pushing all the buttons that make noises.
• He is such a easy going baby, lets mommy and daddy go to dinner and movies while sitting in his car seat watching us.
• Grabs any and everything in reaching distance including mommy’s earrings, hair, water bottle, and any food coming near mommy’s mouth.
• He is wearing 18 month clothes, YES big boy!!! More to love!!

This was the best one I got by himself.. Is it just me or does he look like Joseph Smith. LOL Maybe it's the outfit or the same birthday!

OOPS!! Totally forgot to post some pictures of Luke’s baby blessing day!! It was almost two months ago but better late then never! Danny gave such a amazing blessing… its truly a blessing to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home and to have the benefit of receiving blessings whenever we need one. I am so grateful for the words Danny spoke during Luke’s blessing. Some of the things he blessed him with was the ability to bear a strong testimony, to have a influence of good over his family and friends, to grow up strong and healthy, and to always have a love for his Savior.

I just love this little guy! Not being born into the church I never received a baby blessing so having my son experience it was such an incredible gift to Luke and me

Happy 4 Months to my little Lukey!! I am loving this age Luke is at now, he can’t get around quite yet thus he’s not getting into everything but he smiles and laughs at about anything mommy and daddy do. He really is the happiest baby I have ever seen! I am so happy that I get to stay home with him everyday. Each day he does something new and exciting and I get to be with him all through his FIRST’S.

18 pounds 6 ounces (98th percentile)

• We have two bottom teeth already cut through the gums. I figured he was teething this last week with the frequent night time wakings, fussiness, constant drooling, and eating whatever he can find to put in his month.
• He still is not a fan of tummy time and I am starting to think he might never be. No rolling over yet, but is closer to rolling from back to stomach than the other way around.
• He is wearing 12- 18 months cloths already LOL, making frequent weekly trips to the mall a routine around here.
• He is quite the fish, LOVES LOVES the water and could float around in the tum with mommy for hours.
• He is sleeping through the night wonderfully minus his teething time. Typical night  Luke goes down at 9pm and wakes at 5 am. I am loving it!!!
• Loves watching mommy bake and thinks its hilarious when I scoop the cookies off the tray to the cooling rack.
• Definitely recognizes me and Danny’s voices and faces. So precious to see him light up when he see’s us in the mornings.

The little Lukey is 3 months.. WOW! can’t believe it.. He is so much fun, smiling ALL the time. He is such a great baby. I can’t get enough of him and want to be with him every minute. He is such a chunker now. Forget hitting the gym my biceps are bigger than they have ever been just by holding the dude

• Based on the size of his huge feet and hands he is going to be a BIG boy!
• He smiles all the time. He smiles the biggest when I get him out of his crib in the morning, melts by heart every time.
• Wearing size 3 diapers and 6-12 months clothes already!
• Can hold his head up, making it easy now holding him on my hip.
• Still can’t roll over but is defiantly teetering on the idea. Does not like tummy time still!!
• Defiantly recognizes me and daddy from others
• Can sit in his bumbo while watching mommy make dinner
• Still spitting up mounds of spit all day long!
• He was blessed this last week by Daddy in Oakdale
• Loves eating his hands including blankets
