1 Year Old!!

It’s official I have a one year old.. Now longer do I get to say that I have a month old baby anymore when people ask Well people have thought by his size he has been over a year for a couple months haha.. He is growing so fast and can’t believe how quick he picks things up. He took his first steps on his actual birthday last Friday. I couldn’t believe it. I know he would begin anytime since he paces the couch, but seeing him actually do it brought instant tears to my eyes.. I love him so much!! He has gotten better and will walk across the entire room, until of course he face plants when he gets going to fast. I know there will be months of bruises and tears to come.. He is saying mama and dada.. Balloo for balloon ( which is all I could have gotten him for his birthday, he is obsessed with them) Is understanding me when I ask him where something is or when I tell him No. He has such a cute personality and can make me laugh at the drop of a hat.. This year has flown by I can only hope that time will slow done a little!!!

Where did my little guy go!! Luke is 11 months!!! I almost have a one year old! I am a little late once again posting, his first birthday is this week!!!

He is running along everything just not without holding on to something or someone

Has survived mommy leaving him for a week. More like mommy barely survived.

Says Mama and Dada!!

Starts clapping when you tell him, Clap Luke.. it amazes me how smart he is.

Can cruise up the stairs, but still tries to come down face first

Still loving( obsessed) with cheese

Is maintaining his size of 2T. Thank goodness

Wants to pull everything out of the garbage can and leave nothing

Will only ride backwards in shopping carts, whatever keeps him happy

Eating whatever we eat! Loves pizza. Who doesn’t

I am a little late this month posting! Luke is a little over 10 1/2 months.

He is growing so fast, sometimes I feel like he’s older than he is.

30 pounds

He loves eating WHATEVER were having for dinner. LOVES cheese!
Said mama finally! Been saying dada just doesn’t know what it means.
Crawls EVERYWHERE and walks along the couch
Rolls on belly in tub and kicks like a fish
Wearing 2T and size 5 shoes
Only likes NEW toys
Is turing into such a CUDDLE bug
Starting to recognize family when they come over
Having a hard time putting himself to sleep in crib
He will STAND in his crib until we lay him down

“I am on a boat”

A couple weeks ago I had the awesome privilege of throwing a my dear friend Delina’s bachelorette party!!! She is an amazing girl so we just had to make it absolutely unforgettable. We had a bus pick up the girls ( in which we decorated it from top to bottom) and then then drove them to their surprise destination.. A BOAT!! It was so fun. We toured the Delta, ate some food with some Better Than Sex cake for dessert, danced, and played numerous games.. Delina was so excited all she could say was ” I am on a Boat” She is going to be a beautiful bride and I couldn’t be more excited and happy for her. Can’t wait to be part of her special day in 5 days!!!

Flinstone Halloween

This year as a family for Halloween we dressed up as the Flinstones. I love dressing up and since this was Luke’s first Halloween I was so stoked to get him dressed up. If you can’t tell he is Bam Bam, fits him perfectly! Here are some pictures from the whole weekend!

Oh the joys of a nine month old.. Long were the days that I could leave you laying in the middle of the room and run to the bathroom ( by myself) and find you exactly in the spot I left you… You have become Tazzmania.. How I do love seeing the look on your face as you pull yourself up and open a drawer which you know your not supposed to get into and pull everything out and them continue to eat it.. The look of complete self accomplishment! I have loved seeing you develop into quit a handsome little boy. I want to say so desperately little baby still but I know you really are becoming a little boy now!

Some of your newest this month include..

* Your weighing in at about 28 pounds.

* You can stand up and walk along the couch and cabinets all by yourself.

* I finally gave in and got your first hair cut.. I am amazed at how grown up you look now.

* You love to play with any items that are not toys.( Measuring cups, keys, Tupperware, graters, phone books, shoes, any and every cord in the wall you can find..)

* You visted the dentist with your daddy and I and didn’t cry once.

* You are still not sleeping the whole night in your crib. You are still waking up around 12 and wanting to sleep with mommy, and of course I give in everytime!! I have No willpower at 12.

* Your newest love is to spit. Spit loudly. Spit on people. Spit until you and everything else is ~~wet~~ soaking.

8(1/2+) months old

Dear Luke

You are now 8 almost 9 months old.. When and how did this happen. Your no longer staying my little baby, your growing so fast..

Some of the new and latest things you are doing:

1) You love your race car and find it absolutely hilarious opening up the kitchen drawers and throwing things until of course you slam your fingers in the drawer.

2) You are crawling ALL over the house at lightning speed..

3) You have eight teeth in and you were an angel when these two last ones came in…

4) You can hold and feed yourself your bottle all by yourself. makes mommy’s life easier. Thank you hunny!

5) You can sit up all by yourself now without any support and not falling. Impressive for such a big guy.

6) I know you like to put everything in your mouth, but my hair really can’t taste that good, maybe we should stop pulling and eating mommy’s hair.

7) You can sit up and play forever in the bathtub, you love your little ducky.

You are wearing 2T clothes and size 5 shoes.

9) You are weighing in at 26 1/2 pounds.. Mommies bicep has never been bigger…

10) You are attached at mommy’s hip and wants only mommy all the time… And you love to cuddle to sleep with me ( can this last forever)

3 Year Anniversary

Yesterday Danny and I celebrated our 3 Year Anniversary!! I just love this guy, he makes me laugh, feel loved and happy every single day.. I am so lucky to be married to my best friend! Not only is he the best, he’s smokin HOT I can’t wait to spend eternity with him. This year has been amazing with the addition to our family. Luke has been the greatest blessing and has made our family so happy!!

To celebrate our Anniversary I decided to plan a surprise getaway for Danny and I. I had never left Luke over night before but since it was our anniversary I made an exception.. Was kinda hard ha.. When Danny came home from work I told him to get in the car and we were going to go somewhere. First stop was to go to the Oakland Temple, where we got married and do a session. There in the celestial room I gave him his wedding ring, that I stole form him last week, with an engravement of our “saying” we tell each other everyday.. It was so neat.. Then when we were about to leave around 10 I told him to start driving a certain way, which was away from home. We drove about an hour to Santa Rosa where we stayed the night. The next morning we went to a yummy breakfast place downtown and then headed to my last surprise for Danny. He has been talking about going to Safari West for the longest time. Safari West is a reservation for animals that are in the wild. We got to drive around in a open truck and few all the animals, definitely a Danny thing. It was fun to getaway and do something we never get to do. I can’t wait to take Luke back there when he is a little bigger. It was a fantastic weekend spending alone time with the hubby.

We were so close we could touch the Giraffe... I was so excited, Giraffe's have been my favorite animal forever!!

7 months

Lukey turned 7 months a couple weeks ago, just a little late on the post !! He is definitely growing too fast.. I love seeing how his personality develops ever day!!

Some things about Luke this month:

1) Luke is weighing in at 25 pounds and 31.5 inches.

2) Does not like to entertain himself and gets bored VERY easy and fast!! Making mommy’s “Me Time” harder to find.

3) Has 4 YES 4 new teeth this month. All on the top. He now has a total of 6 teeth. Biting everything and everyone!!

4) Decided he doesn’t like sleeping through the night anymore. Insomnia anyone?? Right here!

5) Is extremely ticklish on his chunky thighs and tummy!! Laughs so loud when you tickle him!!

6) Can now put both feet into his mouth.. YUMMY!!

7) He LOVES pears and very much DISLIKES his green beans!

Is just starting to cuddle with his mommy. Melts my heart when I pick him up and he buries his head in my neck.. LOVE LOVE it!!

9) Wearing 2T clothes.. AWHH!!
